ECOLOGICAL AND HYGIENIC ASSESSMENT OF AIR POLLUTION IN THE CITIES OF THE ROSTOV REGION

Abstract
The paper considers the assessment of air pollution in the cities of the Rostov region. The main source of pollution in cities is motor transport. It
has been revealed that the most polluted air is in the city of Novocherkassk, the least – in Tsimlyansk. The risk of non-specific chronic effects ranged from 0.22 to 0.015 depending on the city
