Abstract

The article describes the use of hoisting wire devices (HWD) — parallel bunches of wire turns bonded by twisted ends on the outside. The calculation results of the bearing capacity of these HWD, taking into account elastic-plastic loading and safety requirements for their use, in which HWD wires strength assessment was conducted on tensile and bend-conductive stress, showed that the lifetime of the wire device can be increased. The results of the study offer practical guidelines for HWD safe operation.

Abstract

The article analyzes the state of occupational injury at the machine- building enterprise "Rostov pressing-cutting plant" over the period from 2006 to 2016. The paper justifies the relevance of the study, gives a brief description of the production. It considers the dynamics of changes in the main statistical indicators of occupational injuries over the study period - coefficients of frequency, severity, loss and mortality. The article provides the classification of accidents by age, experience, profession of the injured, the causes of accidents. It includes suggestions for improving the analysis of industrial injuries, in particular the mandatory census of age, sex and professional groups.

Abstract

The paper provides the analysis of possible reasons and factors of accidents initiation. It has been established that one of the main reasons for the initiation of gas showings is the flow of formation fluid into the wellbore due to the fact that formation preesure exceeds bottom hole pressure. It presents the description of the scenarios of possible and the most dangerous accidents, which include jet fire of formation gas outbursts during the loss of pressure of well equipment and the spread of hydrogen sulphide at the release of formation gas without ignition. The probable zones sizes of damaging factors effects for each of the scenarios and the possible number of victims in these scenarios implementation have been determined.

Abstract

The article considers and justifies the necessity of introducing elements of the integrated management system at the enterprise “Bryanskpivo”. It provides the advantages of using IMS in the field of industrial safety and for labor protection, the main of which are: coherence within the enterprise, increasing the effectiveness of labor protection department, reducing labor costs and documentation, reducing financial costs, increasing staff engagement, the possibility of combining a number of processes, mobility and adaptation. A scheme for the development and implementation of the IMS is given.

Abstract

The object of the research is training process of volleyball players of DSTU combined team. The article provides the algorithm of quantitative assessment of injuries and the justification of measures for injuries prevention during training and competitions of volleyball players. It analyzes statistical data on typical volleyball players’ injuries and probable conditions of
their occurrence. The authors have selected and studied the causes, signs and indicators of typical injuries of DSTU volleyball combined team. They have obtained the numerical values of individual risk of volleyball players’ injury of DSTU combined team; have developed technical proposals for personal protective equipment for DSTU volleyball players.

Abstract

The article is devoted to the research of causes, development characteristics, damage from fires in the Azov district of the Rostov region for the period from 2010 to 2015, and the search for opportunities for their forecasting. To achieve the aim of the research means to achieve a number of goals. In particular, it gives the characteristics of physical and geographical conditions of the Azov district, the analysis of the possibility to forecast landscape fires. The obtained data can be used for decision-making by the district administration, rural settlements and state organizations authorized to solving problems in the field of fire safety. In Conclusion, the authors formulate the results of the research. In particular, it is noted, that forecasting the number of landscape fires in the Azov district is possible, given the climatic conditions and the nature of the vegetation. To reduce the risks connected with the risk of landscape fires in the Azov district, it is first necessary to carry out preventive and administrative activities. Further research of the solution to the problems of landscape fires forecasting is relevant and promising.

Abstract

The imperfection of the regulatory system of pollutants discharge with wastewater and economic mechanisms for protection of water objects has been discussed in our country for many years. The solution may only be a significant change in the basic approaches, the introduction of technological standards for enterprises emissions. The authors of this article have analyzed information-technical reference books on the best available techniques in order to generalize the data about the determined marker substances and technological indicators for pollutant discharges. Certain drawbacks of the considered reference books have been eventually identified.

Abstract

The article provides the consistency check and accuracy evaluation of measurement of aerodynamic parameters of centrifugal dust collectors. It analyzes the requirements of normative-technical documentation to schemes and methods for conducting aerodynamic tests and then selects the most optimal one. The paper presents errors calculations of pressure, velocity and airflow measurements by the combined pressure inlet in combination with a differential manometer. It also verifies the accuracy of the experimental determination of the unknown parameters on the example of the total pressure. To improve the accuracy of measurement it is recommended to use different pressure probes, taking into account the measurement ranges.

The article provides the analysis of the main factors of negative impact of road transport network on the city's ecosystem. The authors propose a plan of actions to reduce traffic flow pollutant emissions, which consists in the optimization of the environmental performance of passenger transport park of Rostov-on-Don, and the assessment of its environmental and economic efficiency.
