Abstract

The article raises the problem of experimental study of the emission of harmful substances and the heat distribution in the welding process in
semi-open spaces for the purpose of subsequent verification of mathematical and computer models. In such production welder often works in the so-called cramped conditions, where there is a rapid increase in the content of harmful substances, working conditions are further worsened by high heat radiation and uncomfortable body position of the welder. The authors measured the concentrations of harmful
substances and carbon dioxide produced by oxyacetylene welding, and confirmed their hypothesis of exceeding the sanitary maximum permissible concentration standard (MPC). Similar studies on the temperature of the
working area proved that the welder works under adverse conditions of production microclimate.

Abstract

The article presents the examination results in order to establish technical reasons for wire breaks of the carrier-traction rope on the passenger cableway. It was established that the main causes of breakage of wires were: a defect in the form of undulations, arising from the unequal distribution of tensile load be-tween the rope strands. Corrosion on the defective area indicates on the improper interaction between the strand ropes in undulation area, and the squeezing
of the inner ribbon and the core all over the splice. The carried out examination has identified that the dam-age of carrier-traction rope strands is a con-sequence of improper use of cable cars, with regard to the failure to conduct carrier-traction rope audit, and not
performing the periodic application of
special lubricants on the whole rope and on the splice. Repair of the above mentioned carrier-traction rope can be done by replacing the defective strand or by replacing the defective part by the qualified technology manufacturer.

Abstract

The aim of this work is to find solutions to the problem of reduction of occupational injuries at the enterprises of mechanical engineering of Rostov region. The paper presents statistics of work-related injuries at enterprises of the region for two calendar periods: 1985-1995 and 2005-2015. Also the authors have analyzed the causes of workrelated injuries at the enterprises of mechanical engineering for the last 10 years. The paper presents a review of published
materials on the subject; it also refers to the features of investigation of accidents. The authors propose their own approach to the investigation of work-related injuries, namely a system concept, in particular the implementation of the principle of "black box" that will allow you to more accurately predict the risk of work-related injuries and to develop more effective preventive measures.

Abstract

The article analyses the topical question about the desired speed of concrete strength development assurance in winter conditions and the possibility of monolithic structures early loading in reliability and safety assurance. Having analyzed the experience of various methods of concrete temperature
maintaining the authors studied the process of concrete strength development at temperatures
different from normal. The multivariate
regression analysis and regression models were built based on the dependence of modified concrete compression strength on time and temperature of hardening. The article
provides the equations of multiple regression.

Abstract

An important direction in the development of the shockproof devices for occupations connected with an increased risk of injury is the reduction of their overall size with maintaining their energy absorption ability. The authors offer a technical solution to shockproof protection of large joints, which
consists of a band made of coils of an
elastic-plastic material with shape memory effect that can effectively protect people from injury and can be used in the field of occupational safety to reduce injuries from shocks or jolts. In the proposed shockproof device the authors used equiatomic NickelTitanium alloy which has acceptable temperature phase transitions which are necessary to restore shape. As an experimental model the authors adopted the technical solution of the shockproof device,
in which in addition to the band the authors used electric contacts at the spiral ends. This solution allows the punches to plastically deform with the absorption of the impact energy, and then recover the original shape,
also due to the electric heating.

Abstract

The article is devoted to the problem of an effective occupational safety and health management systems introduction. The authors considered the occupational risks assessment technique from the point of view of occupational safety and health management
in the chemical industry. They proposed the implementation of hazards identification methodology on the basis of quantitative and qualitative assessment of probability of further
negative outcomes. The ranking of potentially harmful occupational factors is presented as a method to efficiently manage the risks of health disorders of workers of modern paints
and varnishes enterprises. The application of this technique allows minimizing the probability of incidents and accidents and provides the companies that have implemented this technique the possibility to continuously improve it, thus increasing the
productivity and reducing costs on the
insurance and elimination of negative effects.

Abstract

In the framework of factorial parametric modeling the authors have developed and tested the algorithm for calculating the
probability of incident occurrence on the level which is below one percent in statistically not enough studied technical system "protection — object — environment". The authors produced analytical and calculation table
dependencies of incidents occurrence probability at the level of values from 10-7 in the function from the parametric safety margin in the interval changes from — 5 to + 5. Numerical evaluation of safety indicators on the practically important region of analysis was made: the mathematical expectation of
the impact is "less" or "much less" than the susceptibility, the spread of the given values for parametric safety margin is u ≥ 1. For the option where the impact is "more" or "much more" than the susceptibility the authors
calculated the values of incidents occurrence probability, which may be useful for system forecast with regard to extreme impacts. The authors performed the demonstration of the possible use of the parametric model
"influence — susceptibility" in the range of occurrence of apical outcomes from injury (disease) to a critical one, or death.

Abstract

The aim of this work is the description of the results of scientific research in the field of substantiation of organizational-technical measures in restructuring the coal industry. Much attention is focused on the prediction of ecological safety in the process of mines liquidation. It is shown that a comfortable
environmental situation in the area can be secured by creation of the production program considering the results of a comprehensive study of the object and its interaction with the external environment. As the scientific
justification of the programme of activities the authors propose to use system analysis and prognostication. The authors have determined the main factors of negative impact on life
safety of the population and requirements for a predictive system. In conclusion they provided the information on the implementation of the forecasting methodology in liquidation works in the Russian Donbass
